Dr Marika Pietrus

Dr Marika Pietrus has an interest in all areas of general practice, with a common focus on preventative medicine as well as Women’s health. She completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia, Perth, in 2010, spending her junior doctor years working throughout Western Australia. She fell in love with Tasmania following a short visit and relocated permanently soon after. Initially working in the North West in Emergency and Critical Care she then completed her General Practice Training and moved to Hobart. Outside of work she enjoys exploring Tasmania’s nature with her young family.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
  • Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
  • Diploma in Child Health

If you require medical assistance outside of our opening hours, please call Rosny Doctors & After Hours at 27 Bligh Street, Rosny Park on (03) 6244 1058. This after-hours service is available Wednesday to Friday between 6:00pm and 9:00pm, and weekends and public holidays between 1:00pm and 9:00pm. Alternatively, you can call After Hours Doctor Tasmania at 252 Main Road, Derwent Park on (03) 6165 2361. This service is available on weekdays between 6:00pm and 10:00pm, and weekends and public holidays between 9:00am and 10:00pm.
